      1. A familiar scent<\/h3>\n

      The first night with his new family can be super exciting for your little rascal. Ask the breeder, foster family, or shelter your puppy came from for a toy, towel, or a small piece of a blanket. These items smell like his mother, siblings, or previous home. By placing them next to your pup at bedtime, you give him a familiar scent nearby. That smell helps him relax, settle, and drift off to sleep.<\/p>\n

      2. Create a sleep routine<\/h3>\n

      A puppy doesn\u2019t always know when it\u2019s time to sleep. And with so much to discover, curiosity often takes over.
