Lisette, how did Mex come into your life?
I had always wanted a dog, but my parents were not keen on the idea. We had a dog who stayed with us three times a year for a few weeks at a time, and that’s when I fell in love. Once I moved out, I did not have enough time to raise a puppy. But then COVID-19 came along, and suddenly I had all the time I needed to raise one.
How has Mex changed your daily life?
Of course, you always have to go outside, no matter the weather. But Mex is my very best friend, and I love coming home to so much enthusiasm and love. Thanks to him, I have also met new people, and Mex has made new dog friends too.
Mex, tell us, how would you describe yourself in three words?
Ball lover, loving and everyone’s friend.
What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
First, I have a good stretch, then I get kisses from mama, and after that, we go for a lovely walk.
How do you react when Lisette leaves the house without taking you with her?
I miss her when she leaves, but we do plenty of things together. So when she is not home, I can also enjoy some rest.
What’s Mex’s funniest habit that nobody believes when you tell them about it?
Mex really has human eyes. During dinner, he always tries to push his head between your knees. Then he keeps sniffing to let you know he is there and that he would also like something tasty. The result in summer: wet legs.
What is your favourite activity to do together?
We love going for walks, having playdates with friends and enjoying a terrace together.
Mex, what does your ideal day look like?
First, a lovely lie in, then long walks in the forest or on the beach, and of course lots of snackies. I love spending quality time with mama, family and friends.

What would Mex say if he could review a Pawness product himself?
Mex would say that he is not a big fan of showers, but that afterwards he looks good for the ladies and smells great too.
